What is Craft?
Craft is like designing but it is mostly about working with your hands, craft is like a hands-on thing to do when it comes to craft. For some examples, like sculpting, finger painting, wiring, clay, anything that you do that involves working with your hands.
Last year and this year as well, I worked with clay, it was fun to do since it was hands-on work, I made some nice things, crafting it fun when it comes to doing your personal things like small figures, a heart shape, anything that comes to mind. Clay was something new for me to try out for artwork, but I loved the way it came out when I used clay to make my character come to life where I can touch it. The clay I used was too soft, but I learned, and I will possibly try again later in the future or even this year as well. I don’t mind trying something new, crafts are a fun way to express yourself as well. Your hands can show how much you feel, what you make by crafting, a lot can be said in a person, emotionally and physically.
It’s nice to craft stuff and get your hand messy, sure it may not be for everyone to have messy hands, but there even simple ones like origami. It is not as messy with your hands but cutting paper and folding paper, it is simple yet calming thing to do for most people who don’t like to get their hands dirty with clay or painting.
I don’t mind getting my hands messy when it comes to crafting, it is fun, sometimes I have a certain mood like if I want too messy or not. Craft is so fun since you can work with your hands and not just pencil and paper or computers/laptops all the time. It’s nice to work with your hands once in awhile to take a break from holding a pencil and typing on a laptop, or even drawing on the laptop as well. Craft is all about hands on work, not using pencils much or laptops when it comes to crafting, maybe even one day I would like to craft clothing as well, I want to keep trying something new, I want to experience things, and sewing as designing clothing, is one of them to craft in the future.
