My portfolio showcases my work as a Studio Arts major at the University of the Pacific.

About me

My name is Alexa, artist name Willow, though I usually go by Willow. I am a Studio Art major at the University of the Pacific. I have lived in Stockton, California, all my life. I am 20 years old, I speak English and bits of Spanish and German. I am still learning more German, and it's an interesting language to learn, along with learning the different cultures of Germany, very different from what we do here in the U.S.

I explored different places throughout my life now, and it was nice seeing the different parts of the U.S. and Mexico. But one day I want to go to Germany to explore their culture, towns, festivals, etc.

I love making art, exploring the different types of mediums that I have never experienced before or even thought of doing. Whether hands-on, pencil, digital, camera, etc., there are so many things I have learned over the past 3 years now as a Studio Arts major at UOP.

I want to continue to make art, to even sell my artworks, and to commission for people. I want to expand myself to promote my artworks to people to show them what I do for a living.

I continue to work hard during my time at the University of the Pacific and outside of the university as well. Striving to improve myself day by day and experimenting with new things, mixing different types of mediums in art to create something new.

During my Junior Seminar class, I made a series from painting on canvas to 3D artworks, mixed media type, which I did for my exhibition show, and I loved the results. So I am going to continue with that type of research for my Fall semester, and we'll see how that goes.
